A scalable affiliate marketing system that connects e-commerce merchants with independent marketers, enabling seamless product promotion and commission-based earnings.
The Challenge
E-commerce merchants struggle to scale marketing efforts efficiently, track affiliate-driven sales accurately, and manage commission payouts transparently. At the same time, marketers lack a centralized system to discover products, reliable tracking, and guaranteed commission payments.
Our Approach
We built a distributed affiliate marketing platform that connects directly to merchant stores via Salla and Zid APIs, generates unique affiliate tracking links, tracks user interactions and conversions in real-time, and automatically calculates and distributes commissions, removing the need for manual merchant-affiliate coordination. The system is built on a cloud-native microservices architecture using AWS, Kubernetes, gRPC for service communication, and Apache Kafka for event-driven processing of clicks, purchases, and commission triggers.
